Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to operate a variety of machines in our facility. This position requires expertise in performing setups, operating machinery, making tool changeovers, and adjusting programs to meet exact specifications.
Responsibilities
Perform all setups of machine and operate machinery efficiently.
Conduct tool changeovers and necessary adjustments.
Make minor edits and adjustments to programs as required.
Run and measure workpieces to close and exact tolerances.
Ensure productivity and smooth operation of CNC Machines.
Make quality measurements, check dimensions, analyze data, and make appropriate adjustments to meet part specifications.Essential Skills
Proficiency in CNC machining, CNC lathe, and CNC setup.
Experience with G Code Programming and CNC programming.
Familiarity with CNC mills and Mori Seiki machines.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with machines such as Haas, Kitamura, Okuma, Cincom Citizen, and Mori Seiki.
Ability to work on Mori Seiki Twin Spindle/Two Turret Lathe.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will be working in a climate-controlled, clean, and organized machine shop. The environment is quiet and air-conditioned, offering both 1st and 2nd shift openings from Monday to Friday. Overtime of 4-5 hours is available weekly. You will be part of a team of 15-17 machinists on the 1st shift. The facility includes a variety of CNC Turning, Horizontal Machining, Lathes, Vertical Knee Milling, and Vertical Machining Centers, as well as support machines such as sand blasting, grinders, honing machines, and more.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SAINT LOUIS, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
