Job Description

Job Duties:

Acting as a consultant to management and frontline team members and using critical thinking and creativity to problem-solve.

In addition to helping implement the day-to-day, you will work with teams to implement all-important initiatives that drive and maintain an overall culture of excellent employee relations and healthy communications.

Assist Production supervisors with hourly employee development and performance issues and provides direction to production supervisors on preparing and submitting for weekly payroll processing.

Complete general case management, including case review and audit for accurate classification and processing, guaranteeing adherence and the company protocols.

Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase efficiency and retention and promote key moments, achievements, and events with employees

Create ongoing energizing initiatives such as digital boards, recognition programs, and other creative methods/tools.

Provide and maintain communication systems for employees through bulletin boards, publications, written memos, and meetings to maintain accurate information sources.

Assist hourly production employees with inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, schedules, and working conditions as well as interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.

Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.

Manage conflict resolutions and be an active listener.

Build relationships with employees and teams.

The HR Generalist will connecting employees to the correct department.

HR Generalist will be part of performance evaluation, employee engagement activities, and investigations.

The HR Generalist will support employees and support them with benefits and payroll.

Hours:7am-4pm or 8-5pm (Night shift occasionally- depending on what is needed. Night Shift typically starts at 6:30pm EST )

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required

Bachelors Preferred.

2+ years of experience as an HR generalist required

Open communication skills

MS Office and SAP nice to have

Adapts quickly, has a flexible schedule to support night shift when needed.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
