AEGIS Security & Investigations specializes in high end, customer service focused security, investigative, training, and consulting solutions and has been in operation since 2007. AEGIS is searching for a Recruiter. The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree or equivalent years of experience in recruitment. The candidate will need to be a self-starter, but also able to work well with others and in a collaborative team environment. The candidate would be working directly within our management team and directly report to the HR Director and VP of HR.
Description of duties and responsibilities:
Maintains and expands organization staff by actively recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding prospective candidates for hire.
Coordinate with Operations Managers to identify region specific job openings.
Collaborate with management staff on any incidents HR related.
Maintains records of accurate applications and copies of employment items.
Develops and maintains job descriptions.
Sets and maintains job advertisement budgets in collaboration with the Human Resources Director.
Ensures that all new hires are properly licensed and eligible to work in the United States.
Prepares new hires for assignment by establishing orientation and providing uniforms.
Data entry of new hires into Paycor payroll software.
Respond to outside job verifications.
Answers inbound phone calls on the office line and direct work number during office hours.
Ability to learn pricing structure for inbound requests for jobs.
Interacting with colleagues, supervisors, clients, client employees, visitors, and other persons at the work
site.
Various other duties as directed by the Human Resources Director, VP of Human Resources and/or President & CEO.
Must have knowledge of:
Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Powerpoint
GSuite, including but not limited to Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Voice, Keep
Interview process for potential candidates for employment
Phone etiquette – inbound calls, employee calls, management calls
Knowledge of Indeed and other job board platforms
Human Resources Information System software
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
4 years of experience in HR in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
Some knowledge of security industry preferred but not necessary
Command of English language
Willingness to learn quickly
Ability to collaborate with AEGIS management staff and Director of Human Resources
Willingness to work Monday-Friday in-person during the day and additionally after hours as necessary.
