Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of quality control experience, particularly in inspecting raw materials, testing materials, and utilizing precision measurement tools. Familiarity with ISO standards, blueprint reading, and computer proficiency are essential. The role requires comfort with entering manufacturing areas and wearing appropriate cleanroom attire.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform in-process inspections on the manufacturing floor to ensure products meet specifications outlined in Manufacturing Procedures (MPPs) and Quality Assurance Procedures (QAPs).

Document inspection data and complete batch records accurately.

Conduct receiving inspections of various raw materials and components from suppliers, adhering to purchasing specifications and sampling plans per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4.

Identify and control non-conforming materials, ensuring proper documentation and quarantine procedures.

Maintain complete identification and traceability of batch records in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Finalize batch records and perform visual inspections of final goods to verify they meet specified requirements.

Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process, including documentation and resolution of non-conforming products and processes.

Issue Certificates of Conformance (COCs) and Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for shipped products as required, and upload certificates to designated platforms.

Implement at least one process improvement idea annually related to QC processes and forms.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and force gauges.

Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.

Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Experience with Microsoft Navision Dynamics system is a plus.

Comfortable working on the manufacturing floor and wearing cleanroom attire as necessary.

Work Environment:

This position involves regular interaction with the manufacturing floor, requiring adherence to cleanroom protocols and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment. The role demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with established standards.
