Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for packing locks, handles, and latches. You will unpack products and repack them into display packaging. While the tasks are repetitive, you will rotate jobs throughout the day to maintain variety. Additionally, you will assist the Warehouse Department with general labor duties, including repackaging, placing correct labels on packaging, and stacking materials on pallets. This role does not require operating machinery or forklifts.
Responsibilities
Pack and unpack locks, handles, and latches.
Repack products into display packaging.
Rotate tasks throughout the day to maintain variety.
Assist with general labor duties in the Warehouse Department.
Repackage and label products correctly.
Stack materials on pallets.Essential Skills
Experience in production and general labor.
Warehouse experience.
Mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hand and power tools.
Experience with electric saws is a major plus.
Forklift experience is a plus.

Work Environment
Work in a clean warehouse environment that is not climate controlled. Dress appropriately for the weather; shorts and sneakers are permitted, while open-toed shoes are prohibited. No work boots are required. You will work at a stationary work table.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Homewood, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
