Location: Roanoke, VA

Position: Contract Home Health Registered Nurse

Duration: 13 weeks, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, occasional weekends and on-call (typically one weekend per month)

Compensation: Weekly pay, negotiable based on experience and territory budget

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k after 90 days, .48c mileage reimbursement visit to visit (150-250 miles per week expected)

Productivity: 25-32per week

Requirements:

Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) License

Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS

Minimum 1 year of hospice home health experience required

Proficiency in Homecare Homebase required

Oasis proficiency preferred but not required

Reliable transportation

Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer

Job Duties:

Performcomprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in the home setting

Developand implementindividualized hospice care plans focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life

Administerpain management and palliative treatments in accordance with the hospice plan of care

Providecompassionate education and emotional support to patients and families regarding end-of-life care and symptom management

Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of patient status and communicateupdates with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure coordinated care
