Job Description: Outside Sales Representative - Aggregates & Mining Equipment

Location: San Francisco, CA

Our client is seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to represent major brands of aggregates and mining equipment in the San Francisco region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial equipment sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the construction and mining industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage a sales territory to meet or exceed sales targets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, aggregates, and mining sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, plant managers, and procurement teams.

Conduct regular site visits to understand customer needs and provide equipment recommendations.

Present and demonstrate equipment features and benefits to clients.

Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts in a timely manner.

Collaborate with internal teams including service, engineering, and logistics to ensure seamless customer service.

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments.

Represent our client at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.

Qualifications:

3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment, mining, or construction industries.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex equipment.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and territory independently.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
