Job Title: CNC Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a CNC Supervisor who is skilled in setting up and changing tooling, with experience in Fanuc Controls being highly desirable. The successful candidate will oversee a team of approximately 12-15 programmers and CNC machinists, managing their schedules and ensuring efficient workflow. You will be responsible for estimating hours and deliveries, preparing tooling orders, and solving problems as they arise. While training is not a primary responsibility, you will help build the knowledge of less experienced employees. Collaboration with other supervisors and the Engineering Supervisor is essential, and you will report directly to the Shop Supervisor. This role involves making plastic injection and compression molds.

Responsibilities

Set up and change tooling for CNC machines.

Manage a team of 12-15 programmers and CNC machinists.

Schedule work and estimate hours and deliveries.

Prepare tooling orders.

Problem solve and build knowledge of less experienced employees.

Collaborate with other supervisors and the Engineering Supervisor.

Report to Shop Supervisor.

Make plastic injection and compression molds.Essential Skills

2+ years of CNC Supervisor experience.

Hands-on supervisory skills.

Experience as a Manual Machinist.

Experience with direct reports.

Self-starter with the ability to develop lower-level machinists.

Proficiency with CNC, Machinist, Mill, Lathe, Fanuc, Set up, Tear down, Change over, and Tooling.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
