Summary

A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $10M and above. Project types include commercial office buildings, retail developments, and hospitality facilities. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in managing field operations, subcontractor coordination, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage complete project schedules from preconstruction through final delivery (MS Project preferred)

Lead daily field operations, coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and foremen

Ensure compliance with all safety standards, quality expectations, and design specifications

Oversee jobsite logistics, including labor, materials, and equipment management

Monitor and control job costs, productivity metrics, and schedule performance

Resolve on-site challenges such as weather delays, site conflicts, and emergencies

Required Experience

Proven track record as a Lead Superintendent on commercial ground-up projects valued at $10M+

Strong subcontractor management and schedule tracking experience

Expertise in coordinating field crews and managing on-site operations

Preferred Skills & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field

7+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision

Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, and scheduling tools

Strong leadership, communication, and cost control capabilities
