Job Title: Tool & Die Maker
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker to join a dynamic team. You will be instrumental in producing tools and dies for metal stamping, servicing both international and domestic business needs.
Responsibilities
Produce tools, dies, and progressive dies to manufacture metal parts.
Lay out metal stock, set up, and operate machinery.
Fit and assemble parts to create and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, and fixtures.
File, grind, shim, and adjust components to ensure a perfect fit.
Inspect finished dies for accuracy and quality.
Position machine parts on tables using angle plates and v-blocks.
Conduct test runs on completed parts to ensure functionality.
Set up and operate drill presses.
Smooth and polish parts and tools as necessary.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Verify specifications and alignment of parts.
Understand metalworking processes including stock removal, chip control, heat treating, and plating.Essential Skills

Work Environment
Work indoors 100% of the time in a tool department with over 30 employees. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses and ear plugs are provided. Candidates must have steel toes and bring their own tools if needed. The dress code includes jeans and a button-down shirt, and a company uniform is available if desired. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 6:00am-4:00pm with occasional Saturday shifts from 7 AM to 12 PM.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $87360.00/yr.
