Do you have Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment? Are you interested in joining a family oriented environment that is fast paced, rewarding and truly values its team members? Timpte is seeking a Quality Engineer for our David City, Ne manufacturing facility. This person will support both our David City and new Lincoln Manufacturing Center location. The Quality Engineer will ensure that products, both manufactured and purchased, meet engineering specification and that the company maintain a high-quality of workmanship. Responsible for developing quality compliance processes, testing procedures, and implementing systems to ensure that products and processes comply with federal safety regulations, engineering specifications and meet customer expectations.
PAY for this position is $75-95k/year (depending upon experience) + monthly bonus!
Primary Responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing quality standards
Developing and implementing quality control systems
Monitoring and analyzing quality performance
Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
Must possess an Engineering or related Technical Degree and experience 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Must be proficient or have working knowledge in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, etc.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written as well as presentation skills.
Must be able to manage data collection, data analysis and reporting
Self-Starter and Motivator; Team Builder and Leader
Understand and execute Problem Solving for manufacturing and vendor products and components
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Some travel will be required as assigned by the Quality Manager
