Responsibilities

As a Midas Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, including:

Diagnostics using advanced computer systems

Tire repair and installation

Heating and A/C repair

Steering and suspension work

Belt and hose replacement

Radiator and cooling system service

Battery, starting, and charging diagnostics

Brake service and repairs

Oil changes and routine maintenance

Check engine light diagnostics

Muffler and exhaust system repair

Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently and collaboratively

Strong knowledge in brakes, suspension, exhaust, and engine diagnostics

Consistent track record of personal productivity and reliability

Knowledge of safety/environmental regulations for repair facilities

Experience with shop equipment: lifts, alignment machines, tire changers, scan tools, etc.

High School diploma or equivalent (technical degree is a plus)

Valid drivers license

State-specific certifications (where required)

Own tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner preferred)

Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
