Overview: FNF Construction is hiring for the on-site role ofPayroll Coordinatorat its Corporate office in Tempe, AZ.
This position is primarily responsible for coordinating the overall weekly payroll process, as it relates to the timely and accurate data-entry and disbursement of a multi-state payroll, up to and including creation of direct deposit ACH files, paychecks and banking.
Additional responsibilities include acting as one of the main administrative contacts for the company’s health & welfare and pension plans.

This full-time position is considered salaried and is exempt from FLSA overtime provisions.
Responsibilities: Knowledge of the general policies and practices of construction/heavy highway companies.Strong customer service skillsExtreme attention to detailExcellent problem analysis and resolution skills, ability to think outside the box.General computer and Database management skills,including intermediate to advanced level Excel skillsAbility to provide technical guidance and training to end users relative to the Payroll process.Current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws; to include COBRA and FMLA legislation.Knowledge of automated payroll systems and trends in timekeeping methods.Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personnel in a diverse work community.Top-notch organizing and coordinating skills.Ability to provide consistent and insightful training on payroll and benefit issues Qualifications: Education and in Payroll Administration, example: FPC (Fundamentals of Payroll Certification) through the American Payroll Association.
