Job Overview:

The Financial Analyst provides a wide range of support across the company, offering broad exposure to multiple business areas, and frequent interaction with leadership teams. Must be able to effectively handle a diverse range of duties while exercising initiative and independence.

This is a hybrid position, with the potential for up to 3 days per week in our Nashua, NH headquarters depending on location.

Responsibilities:

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in COGS and OPEX forecast/actuals to budget

Partner with other analysts in assisting with making update to budget assumptions

Assist with monthly and forecasting process, reviewing and updating /forecast assumptions with a focus on expenses

Support ongoing efforts to improve forecasting processes by identifying key trends on an actual vs budget basis

Support ongoing headcount forecasting efforts to improve process efficiency

Review P&L activity and variances for accuracy partnering with accounting on any potential updates needed

Ensure accuracy of data by matching data back to the source including but not limited to the budgeting tool, general ledger system, and PowerBi

Support forward looking business decisions by tracking trends and metrics and delivering actionable insights on financial and business performance

Perform Ad-hoc financial and variance analysis upon request

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or similar field required from an accredited institution

Minimum of 1-3 years Budgeting/Financial/Accounting experience

Strong financial acumen (forecasting, variance analysis, report and analytical analysis of revenue/gross and contribution margin or such financial trends)

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints

Strong computer and analytic skills - specifically proficient with all Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - including financial modelling, integrated ERP systems; familiarity with Workday Adaptive Insights and Sage Intacct is a plus

Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with personnel throughout the company including senior business leaders
