**CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer**

**Job Description**
Join our team as a CNC Lathe Machinist in Davenport, Iowa, where you will play a vital role in producing foundry tooling for diverse industries such as resource & mining, construction, commercial pipe wrenches, hydraulic components, heavy equipment, engine components, and large municipal pipe fittings and adapters. You will be responsible for troubleshooting machines, reading complex prints, and setting machines up to hold precise tolerances of +/- 0.002.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and operate up to 12 different machines daily.
+ Read and interpret complex blueprints including true position and GD&T symbols.
+ Set up and run machines independently to maintain tight tolerances of +/- 0.002.
+ **Program machines using 2D modeling software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360.**
+ Utilize tools like calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.
+ Understand and apply g & m codes in machining processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ **Minimum of 2 years of experience with CNC (Ikegai & Hitachi) and manual lathe operations.**
+ **Ability to program in Mastercam or Fusion 360.**
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and machining.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in machining various metals including stainless steel, bronze, titanium, and plastic.
+ Capability to train employees on programming aspects.
+ Experience with setting up, operating, and programming machines independently.
+ Familiarity with tolerances down to 0.0002.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
