**Electronics Technician - Los Angeles**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team in the Los Angeles, CA region on a contract to hire basis. This role involves providing on-site equipment service for a range of radiology equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business objectives. Ideal candidates will reside in Burbank, Pasadena, Torrance, or West Hollywood.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at customer sites using approved procedures and documentation.

+ Troubleshoot and repair technically complex equipment efficiently.

+ Organize daily work schedule and coordinate with territory teammates for efficient operations.

+ Maintain and manage mobile inventory, ensuring quality work and minimizing equipment downtime.

+ Generate service revenue through promotion of Service Programs and Billable services.

+ Collaborate with Territory Service Inside Sales teammates to prepare and develop service quotes and finalize sales.

+ Generate sales leads for new product or product upgrade opportunities.

+ Accurately complete work orders to ensure proper customer billing.

+ Maintain company vehicle, calibration tools, special equipment, and stock inventory.

+ Safeguard all proprietary information from non-authorized personnel.

**Essential Skills**

+ Strong understanding and experience in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, and repair services.

+ Ability to perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and repair service on various equipment.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company-specific management software.

+ Valid and unrestricted driver's license.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Associate's degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, IT networking, computer science, or relevant discipline preferred.

+ Equivalent military training in electronics, aviation, IT, or computer science with 2 years of experience or high school diploma/GED with certifications and 3 years of experience.

+ Experience in a hospital setting or customer service preferred.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.

+ Willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%, including overnight trips as needed.

+ Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.

+ Physical ability to lift over 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, and sit for long durations.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
