CNC Operator

**Industry Leading Vacuum Manufacturing Company URGENTLY Hiring a CNC Operator to start ASAP**

**Located:** Rutherford, NJ

**Pay** : $26/hour ; Overtime: $39.00/hour

**Shift:** 7:30am-4pm (Monday-Friday)

**Job Description**

As a CNC Operator, you will oversee the daily functions of CNC machinery, ensuring efficient operations and quality production.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate CNC Haas Lathe and Milling Machines (3/4/5 Axis) effectively.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.

+ Hold tolerances of +/- .0005” and +/- .012mm.

+ Machine materials such as aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, and peek.

+ Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.

+ Utilize CMM machines and precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

+ Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operations.

+ Inspect machinery and products for quality assurance.

+ Perform daily preventative maintenance on machinery.

+ Handle materials appropriately and safely.

+ Ensure manufacturing adherence to all quality regulations.

+ Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

**Essential Skills**

+ 1-5 years of CNC operating experience.

+ Ability to use calipers and micrometers.

+ Proficiency in reading and following blueprint instructions.

+ Experience in machine operating and machining.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related field.

+ Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.

+ Haas Controller experience is a plus.

+ Any set-up experience is a plus.

+ Quality assurance experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**

This role is based in a manufacturing/production environment with a 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. You should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform duties that require sitting, standing, walking, and handling objects. **Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
