Dalrada Financial Corporation is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern to join our team. The primary objective of the Finance Analyst Intern is to support the finance department in various accounting, date entry, and data analysis tasks. The intern will gain hands-on experience in financial processes, contribute to strategic projects, and assist in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of finance operations within a dynamic business environment, while fostering growth and development.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Perform accurate data entry and validation into financial systems, including NetSuite;
• Learn and apply core functions of NetSuite ERP for financial transactions, reporting, and recordkeeping;
• Assists in the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis projects;
• Assist in building and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and financial models;
• Support the finance team in preparing reports, forecasts, and variance analyses;
• Analyze financial data and identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement;
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and organizing data;
• Conduct market and competitor research to support financial strategy development;
• Prepare and maintain Excel-based models and dashboards;
• Collaborate with accounting and finance team members to ensure accuracy in reporting;
• Assist in audits, compliance reviews, and other financial processes as needed;
• Present findings and recommendations to supervisors and senior team members;
• Perform other related duties as assigned;
Required Skills/Abilities:
• 0-2+ years of finance/accounting experience;
• Highly motivated, quick learner and enthusiastic about their work;
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
Education and Experience:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• 0-2+ years of finance/accounting experience;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus;
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers;
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer;
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times;
