New Realm Brewing Company has opened seven locations in the southeast since inception in 2018. No two locations are the same and each location has been designed to fit the community to host live music both indoors and outdoors. We host both public and private events, serving exceptional beer, and complementary food offerings. We blend inventive brewing with a culinary program that pushes boundaries while celebrating local flavors and ingredients. We're seeking a visionary Senior Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations and elevate our culinary identity.

Position Summary

The Senior Executive Chef is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the culinary vision of our restaurant and brewing company. This role will oversee all kitchen operations across multiple locations, lead menu development, ensure food quality and consistency, manage culinary staff, and collaborate closely with the brewing and hospitality teams to create a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Leadership

Develop and implement a cohesive culinary vision aligned with the company’s brand and brewing philosophy

Lead innovation in menu development, seasonal offerings, and food-beer pairings

Research and identifies culinary trends and new developments with restaurant segment and broader business environment, benchmarks with other companies, and implements findings.

Seeks operators feedback, visit restaurants and attend operation meetings to gain insight into potential enhancements to systems methods and procedures

Operational Oversight

Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and safety

Oversee kitchen operations including purchasing, inventory, food cost management, and labor controls

Ensures the development and maintenance of the recipe database including ingredients from past, current and future food products.

Establish and monitor KPIs for kitchen performance and guest satisfaction

Travel and be in restaurants weekly.

Team Development

Recruit, train, coach and mentor culinary staff across all locations

Build a positive and productive kitchen culture that fosters creativity, accountability, and growth

Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure continuous improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with brewers to develop food and beer pairings, special events, and collaborative experiences

Partner with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction

Contribute to marketing efforts with insight into seasonal menus, chef’s specials, and culinary storytelling

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Strong background in scratch cooking, seasonal menu planning, and regional cuisines

Experience working in a brewpub, gastropub, or culinary-driven bar/restaurant setting preferred

Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, budgets, and food/labor cost controls

SERV Safe certification (or equivalent); food safety and sanitation expertise

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Passion for craft beer and experience with food-beer pairing is a plus

Travel up to 50% by car or plane
