Job Description
You will be an Electro Mechanical Assembler with Lockheed Martin's Archbald facility, which specializes in design, manufacturing, and engineering for both domestic and international customers. It produces electronic assemblies, machined and welded assemblies/parts, and safety-critical systems for various defense and commercial applications. The site is renowned for its awards and contributions to missile systems, nuclear instrumentation, and control products.
What You Will Be Doing
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) has an opportunity for a Electro Mechanical Assembler to join the Archbald, PA team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work in a team or solo environment to assemble components and main assemblies
• Supports the manufacture of harnesses, circuit cards and miscellaneous assemblies
• Diligently follow work instructions to ensure product specs, performance targets and quality levels are met
• Form Components and hand or machine populate circuit cards
• Assembler would operate various equipment such as but not limited to Laser wire strippers, crimpers, pneumatic tools etc.
• Perform detailed soldering operations on micro and sub miniature components and parts as assigned
• Building of precision Electro Mechanical Assemblies, wiring of assemblies and sub assemblies
• Supports continuous improvement activities and participates in problem solving activities
• Contribute to a safe working environment by following safety requirements
• Work to ESD Requirements
• Use hand tools, computers, and other equipment to manufacture the product
• Ability to perform all jobs within work area
• Ability to multi-task, sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Assist in the training of employees as assigned
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
