Responsibilities:

Perform Mammographic Procedures: Conduct mammograms using specialized imaging equipment.

Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for mammograms, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Radiation Safety: Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations.

Image Quality: Ensure images are clear and of good quality, adjusting equipment as necessary.

Interpretation: Interpret images and differentiate between normal and abnormal findings.

Documentation: Document patient history and maintain accurate patient records.

Communication: Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals regarding patient findings.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean mammography equipment, reporting any technical issues.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques Requirements:

3+ years of experience with mammography

California Radiologic Technologist certificate
