Summary
Our Tool and Die team makes and maintains production tooling to support 100% on-time customer delivery performance. We're continuing to build our next generation of Toolmakers who will continue our team's strong character of integrity and respect with a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations. Precision Resource, Inc. is a solid, privately held, profitable manufacturer that specializes in challenging and intricate safety-critical parts using a fineblank production method. Essential Duties
Analysis and repair of tools to address quality and production challenges.
Manufacture spare components and perform die maintenance of tool to standards set out in electronically-maintained tool timing records and tool designs.
Complete electronic record of tool maintenance performed by part and job number.
Develop preventive and predictive tool maintenance schedules based upon analysis of tool performance to achieve improved production volumes.
Review “last piece” inspection records and make necessary improvements.
Qualifications
High School or GED with some Tool and Die Making experience or related schooling.
Knowledge of tool and die manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment with good troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of English and Metric systems of measurement with proficient use of precision measuring tools.
Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Basic data entry computer skills.
