Hybrid role
Will work Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. 2 days in office/3 from home. PLEASE NOTE: In June will switch to 3 days in office/2 days from home.
The Customer Data Administrator maintains customer account data within the Customer Data Administration area, adding new accounts and updating existing accounts. Additionally, the role provides and verifies customer account data with other internal departments, including Credit/Collections, Tax Administration, Strategic Sales, Government Sales, e-Commerce, Field Sales Representatives and Field Sales Management.
Duties:
Creates and maintains accurate Customer Master Data for all customers. This data includes but is not limited to: billing/shipping addresses, price files, marketing promotions, freight, initial credit-limit set-up, and field sales assignment.
Validates and creates account data for new customers with information supplied by Field Sales, Customer Service, Strategic, Government and/or Web departments.
Validates and updates account data for existing customers with information supplied by Field Sales, Customer Service, Strategic, Government and/or Web departments.
Updates account data as required by territory realignment.
Reviews shipping fees, making adjustments for errors caused by incorrect addresses in the system.
Other Skills:
Experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PC, and email applications
Attention to detail with the ability to understand the importance of accurate data entry
Ability to follow the steps of a process to completion
Ability to comprehend information from oral and written documentation
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently
SAP or similar ERP experience required
High school diploma required plus one to two years of experience in a B2B customer service environment with a focus on office operations and data entry preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
