Construction Coordinator – Scope of Work
1. Project Planning & Coordination
Assist with the development of construction schedules.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
Ensure project milestones are met and timelines are adhered to.
Track progress and report updates to project managers and stakeholders.
2. Site Management Support
Facilitate day-to-day communication between the field crew and project management.
Schedule and oversee subcontractor activities.
Ensure site safety protocols are being followed.
Coordinate inspections, material deliveries, and site logistics.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project records, including daily reports, permits, and change orders.
Assist in preparing construction documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and punch lists.
Monitor and update project budgets and cost reports as required.
4. Procurement Coordination
Support procurement of materials and equipment.
Track order and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues or delays.
5. Quality Assurance
Work with QA/QC teams to ensure work meets project specifications and standards.
Help manage the punch list and closeout process.
Assist with resolving on-site technical issues.
6. Communication & Liaison
Act as a liaison between project management, site teams, and subcontractors.
Facilitate project meetings and communicate decisions and updates clearly.
Manage stakeholder expectations by providing timely updates.
7. Compliance
Ensure construction activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist with obtaining and tracking necessary permits and inspections.Company Description
