LERETA, a leader in providing real estate tax and flood information services to the mortgage and insurance industries, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role will be instrumental in leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and process improvement methodologies, with a focus on delivering operational excellence in fast-paced business environments. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure projects are executed efficiently, risks are mitigated, and stakeholders are engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Leads and manages the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure

Executes project management and/or continuous improvement projects by applying PM and LSS tools such as PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, DMAIC, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Error Proofing, Visual Management, Poke-Yoke, and others

Coordinates and collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines

Identifies and mitigates project risks, issues, and dependencies, and proactively implements solutions to address challenges

Communicates project status, progress, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners

Manages project resources, including personnel, and external vendors, to optimize efficiency and productivity

Conducts regular project meetings, facilitates discussions, and drives decision-making to keep projects on track.

Ensures compliance with project management and continuous improvement best practices, methodologies, and standards

Fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.

Required Education & Experience

5+ years of progressive experience managing complex projects, ideally within a mortgage, financial services, or real estate environment.

Experience working at a large consulting firm preferred, with an understanding of large-scale project management methodologies and corporate process improvement frameworks.

Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, or Root Cause Analysis.

Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or certifications from large consulting firms highly preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business or related field required. MBA preferred.

Preferred Education & Experience

Experience with leading consulting firms and certifications in project and process management

MBA

Project management certification (PMP, etc.)

LSS Green or Black Belt certification
