Camera System/Security Alarm/ Access Control Technician

Job Description

APT Security is seeking self-motivated and capable CCTV Access Control Technicians to execute and finalize commercial and residential security projects according to deadlines and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Install and program new alarm and security systems (mainly Honeywell)

Install Camera Systems hardware such as NVRs/DVRS, IP/analog cameras, and related devices for video surveillance projects

Configure routers, WAPs, and wireless radios

Configure door controllers, power distribution panels and related devices for access control

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems

Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems

Provide customer service and support during site visits or dispatches

Qualifications:

Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields preferred, BUT willing to train

Familiarity with hand and power tools

Ability to handle physical workload

Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Valid driver's license

Pay:

Based on experience, starting $18-$25/hrCompany Description
