Loudoun Psychological Services (LPS), a fast-growing, private mental health counseling practice with offices in Sterling and Leesburg, Virginia, is looking for licensed and applicants eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or licensed in the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT® - We are looking for both Psychologists and Professional Counselors either as employees or independent contractors to work either remotely (telehealth) or at LPS facilities in Sterling and Leesburg, Virginia on a full-time or part-time basis.

LPS is a trauma-informed practice that accepts most major insurance plans including Medicaid and Medicare. We work with clients of all ages, genders, sexual orientations and lifestyle preferences. Our mission is to provide outstanding support to our clinicians and clients.

Requirements

o A master's degree in psychology or counseling or a doctoral degree in behavioral health with corresponding licenses and certifications or eligibility for licensure

o A minimum of two years of experience providing family or individual therapy preferred

o A desire to work with children, adults, and/or families

o Foundational knowledge of comprehensive mental health issues both in theory and in practice

o Knowledge, training and experience utilizing assessment techniques and evidence-based interventions for specific populations

o Ability to manage a weekly caseload of up to 30 clients as a full time or a minimum of 10 as a part time therapist

o Experience with trauma treatment strongly preferred

o Willingness to work some evenings and Saturdays – we offer flexible schedules and a hybrid working environment
