What you’ll be doing:
Aiding in the implementation and continuous improvement of mechanical and electrical equipment for the assembly floor and work cells
Maintaining system performance and performing preventative maintenance activities for all locations with a focus on electrical specifications
Implementing, training, and troubleshooting torque-related equipment, camera equipment, sensors, and electrical test boxes
Setting up production cells to include PLC and IoT devices that will collect cell data
Demonstrating cross-functional competency and good decision-making skills
Showing an aptitude for continuously training on current and new technology and fixtures
Demonstrating adaptability to perform under stress and maintain focus in critical or unusual situations
Performing other operations-related duties and/or special assignments as required
WCI has grown from $50M in annual sales to more than $375M in the last 10 years. During the same period, we have added 5 new locations bringing the total up to 9, including 1 located internationally. Requirements
What we are looking for:
High school diploma or GED (required)
Two-year associates in related field, 5 years of experience or high aptitude in electrical components and electro mechanical systems
Proficiency in a variety of software programs including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Ability to travel 10% of time to WCI US locations
Independent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be able to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to a minimal amount frequently.
