Job Summary:
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating (CNC) Press Brake machines; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment, supplies, and tooling.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Complete work travelers by following operation procedure and accurately machining/bending parts per work instructions and drawings.
· Accurately program press brake or make changes to programs to ensure parts are made to print.
· Make sure correct tooling is used for each operation to ensure accuracy of completed part.
· Correctly clock all time associated with set up and machining/bending of parts to the correct job.
· Inspect parts per inspection procedure QC 1 every 5 parts
· Accurately fill out all travelers for production quantities, Scrap and material used adding dates and initials
· Keep machines in good working condition, preventative maintenance schedule followed, proper coolant levels, condition of components and cleanliness utilizing the provided barcode to complete the daily checklist for housekeeping of areas.
· Maintain and organize staging area for future jobs.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
· Assist machine shop in other functions when caught up on work travelers.
· Assist with machine maintenance when necessary.
· Performs other related duties/projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
· Bending and stooping for long periods of time.
· Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
· Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
· Lifting over head up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis.
· Pushing and pulling on a continuous basis.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Experience in operating a CNC press brake machine
· Knowledge of Press brake tooling
· Knowledge and material thicknesses
· Knowledge of different material types
· Knowledge of using different measuring gages and calipers
