The Manager of Partner Oversight, ATMs position is part of the Risk and Remediation team within Global Strategy Operations and Performance (GSOP) team. This team focuses on driving broad process excellence and managing large risk-related initiatives for GMNS. The purpose of GMNS is to drive global acceptance for all American Express payment solutions while delivering value to our merchants & partners simply, securely, and seamlessly.

The newly created role of Manager of Partner Oversight, ATMs will be responsible for ensuring that both prospective and existing ATM partners are subject to the required level of due diligence. This role will facilitate the counterparty due diligence for prospective ATM partners, assessing risk and security programs related to Compliance, Financial Crimes, Sanctions Screening, Fraud, Privacy and Infosec. The role will also be responsible for refreshing Due Diligence activities regularly for existing partners. In both capacities, the role will be coordinating closely with Business Development, Product and Compliance teams as well as other subject matter experts as needed.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate regular due diligence refreshes for existing partners based on frequencies defined as per the risk level of each partner.

Assessing the risk of prospect/partner based on DD information provided and recommending risk mitigation steps as needed.

Coordinating with subject matter experts such as Compliance and Financial Crimes teams to ensure timely input from all relevant stakeholders.

Engaging closely with partners to ensure right level of documentation and timely/accurate responses to follow-ups.

Develop and maintain reporting on due diligence activities to ensure transparency and timely completion of all program milestones.

Qualifications:

Experience working with client and/or third-party risk assessment questionnaires

Experience working in Compliance or Operational Risk, with exposure to AML, Financial Crimes and Sanctions.

Ability to diligently capture and evidence the activities undertaken, decision making and rationale for such decisions, considering relevant regulatory, compliance and reputational risks.

Must be results oriented, and self-driven, able to operate in a fast-paced environment within the GMNS business.

Must be rigorous and detail oriented in reviewing partner provided documents and identifying/addressing potential compliance gaps

Must be able to take initiative in resolving compliance issues, identify and solve problems in a constructive manner.

Strong administrative skills to organize and maintain a broad range of projects.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
