Carpenters, Laborers, and Crew Leads

Location: Lake-Based Projects (General Contractor)

Schedule: 4 Days/Week, 10-Hour Shifts (Full-Time)

Compensation: Competitive Pay, Overtime Available

Positions Available

Responsibilities

Carpenters:

Build, repair, and renovate lakefront homes, docks, and related structures.

Execute precise framing, finishing, and woodworking tasks.

Work closely with team members to maintain quality standards.

Document work progress and details in construction management software.

Ensure proper care and maintenance of company tools and equipment.

Laborers:

Support carpenters and crew leads with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup.

Assist with construction tasks, including basic carpentry and dock maintenance.

Ensure a safe, organized worksite in a lake environment.

Document work progress and details in construction management software.

Ensure proper care and maintenance of company tools and equipment.

Crew Leads:

Supervise daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Lead and motivate team members, promoting a collaborative work culture.

Communicate project progress with clients and management using apps and tech tools.

Document work progress and details in construction management software.

Oversee quality control to ensure high standards and attention to detail.

Ensure proper care and maintenance of company tools and equipment.

Qualifications

All Positions:

Comfortable working on boats and in a lake-based environment.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to document work in construction management software.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Team-oriented with a focus on quality, professionalism, and safety.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Carpenters:

2+ years of carpentry experience (experience with docks or lakefront projects preferred).

Skilled in using hand and power tools.

Ability to interpret blueprints and technical plans.

Laborers:

No experience required; construction or outdoor work experience a plus.

Eager to learn and follow instructions.

Physical ability to lift, carry, and work in varying weather conditions.

Crew Leads:

5+ years of construction experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Strong leadership and project management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to perform quality control with strong attention to detail.
