TeamGov, Inc. is seeking a General Foreman with hands-on experience managing field construction activities on military installations. This role is critical to the day-to-day coordination and oversight of subcontractor work on a specialized infrastructure project. The General Foreman will serve as the on-site lead, ensuring subcontractor compliance with scope, safety, scheduling, and quality requirements. Reporting directly to the Prime Superintendent, this position provides real-time field-level visibility into all subcontractor operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise daily subcontractor activities, including mobilization, security barrier installations, electrical and concrete work, and bollard placements.
• Coordinate closely with the Prime Superintendent to report progress, flag issues, and implement corrective measures.
• Enforce compliance with military base access rules, OSHA safety regulations, and federal construction standards.
• Oversee and document field installation of:
o Nine (9) Delta Scientific Barriers and five (5) EPUs
o Ten (10) Delta Fixed Bollards
o 1,572 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter
o Two (2) concrete traffic islands
o Six (6) mast arms and supporting AVB infrastructure
• Manage logistical components such as trailer setup, temporary power, fencing, gravel placement, and overall site readiness.
• Supervise conduit installation and coordinate with testing teams to prepare for commissioning activities.
• Act as the primary field contact for subcontractor crews, resolving issues in real time or escalating to the Prime Superintendent as necessary.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, conduct toolbox safety meetings, and lead site walkthroughs for quality and safety assurance.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in field supervision or foreman-level construction work on federal or military projects.
• Familiarity with physical security infrastructure, including barriers, bollards, mast arms, and conduit systems.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate subcontractors across multiple trades within a secure or regulated job site.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on daily reporting and field coordination.
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred.
• PMP or other construction management credentials are a plus but not required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and obtain military base access clearance.
Work Environment:
• Full-time, on-site role at an active military installation.
• May require extended hours and weekend shifts during peak phases of the construction schedule.
• Requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and coordinating across multiple subcontractor disciplines.
