Job Description
In-Home Behavior Technician
As a In-Home Behavior Technician you will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to consumers in an individual or group setting.
Responsibilities:
Implement individual Behavioral plans
Implement consumer lessons and addressing consumer goals
Collect data and complete consumer graphing of behaviors
Responsible for the organization and upkeep of consumer binders
Organize and maintain the cleaning of classrooms and common social areas
Responsible for facilitating learning and growth opportunities for consumers with peers
Drive or aide in assisting consumers to and from the facility when needed
Must be willing to work with consumers who engage in challenging behavior that may include but is not limited to aggressive, biting, throwing, self-injurious behavior, and self-stimulatory behavior
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age
High School Diploma
2+ years direct working experience with Applied Behavior Analyst Therapy
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and direct working experience counseling or social work
Must have completed COVID vaccination or provide medical/religious exemption and weekly COVID testing
Must have completed RBT or BCAT certification preferred
Physical/Mental Requirements:
Must be able to handle a high level of stress
Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
Must be able to stoop, bend, or kneel repetitively
