At Education Management Solutions (EMS), we’re searching for a Sales Engineer to join our collaborative team and drive success across the sales cycle. In this high-impact role, you’ll blend technical expertise with customer-facing finesse to help design, price, and position cutting-edge software systems that make a real difference in education and healthcare environments.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct in-depth technical research to support customer-specific projects
Prepare persuasive bid responses, RFPs, and technical documentation
Join sales presentations to translate complex systems into client-ready solutions
Review site specs and technical drawings to define scope and solutions
Collaborate with Sales to clarify client needs and tailor EMS proposals
Assist sales with negotiating deals, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment
Foster strong client relationships that lead to long-term contracts
Recommend pricing strategies that meet client needs and margin goals
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline
Experience in simulation design and computer networking
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you’re great with people and tech
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Willingness to travel 20–40% to client sites
CTS certification or experience with AV systems and infrastructure is a major plus
