Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to support our team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing, as well as providing administrative support for various HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll procedures, HR practices, and a passion for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance. This is an onsite position.

This is an onsite position (core schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm).

Primary job duties may include, but not limited to:

Payroll Processing

Process weekly payroll for all hourly and salary associates

Follow internal process procedures and identify areas of improvement

Ensure accuracy of associate salaries, payroll deductions and withholdings (taxes, benefits, garnishments), hours-worked, and leave usage and balances

Attendance Tracking

Track associate attendance infractions, updating timecards and attendance records

Creating attendance points notification letters

Educating associates on benefits available, such as Paid Time Off (PTO), to help reduce turnover for attendance-related employment separations, thereby improving retention

Reporting

Weekly payroll reports to Accounting

Create and maintain monthly and annual Perfect Attendance reports

Create and maintain annual vacation accrual reports

Other reports as requested to support business objectives

Other duties as assigned

Work with management and associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and improve retention

Help resolve associate relations issues

Collaboratively work in partnership with HR team members to create and effectively deliver solutions to the department and organization

Skills & Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years payroll experience

Experience with hourly and salary payroll in a fast-paced environment, preferred

Experience with Paycom is a plus, but not required

Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations

Proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas like VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and INDEX/MATCH

Excellent organizational, communication, time-management, and customer service skills

Ability to work independently, and in a team setting

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong attention to detail
