UI/UX Developer

Long Term Contract (40 hr week)

Charlotte, North Carolina

4 days onsite, 1 remote

The Emerging Technology Development team of our Telecommunications client is seeking a UI/UX Developer with a focus on creating intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging interfaces for both internal tools and customer-facing applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable designing, prototyping, and developing user-friendly web and mobile interfaces. This includes the identification and implementation of new user experience strategies, features, and design technologies.

You will be part of a growing development team responsible for creating industry-leading user interfaces and experiences for enterprise-level applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, and testing of user-centric, production-level, mission-critical interfaces within a distributed n-tier environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

UI/UX Design Experience : 2-3 years of experience designing and developing user-friendly and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.

Expertise in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar for creating wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React or Angular for implementing designs.

Experience with responsive design techniques and ensuring cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.

Strong understanding of UX research methods, user testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.

Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with design systems and maintaining a cohesive design language across multiple platforms.

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience implementing accessible user interfaces.

Experience in interaction design and creating complex UI animations and transitions.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Understanding of backend integration and working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and other integration technologies to build dynamic, data-driven interfaces.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or related field.
