Jefferson Bucks Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Interventional Pulmonologist to help build and expand our interventional pulmonary program. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape a growing service line focused on delivering high-quality care for patients with complex airway and pleural diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures (flexible/rigid bronchoscopy,
medical thoracoscopy).
Lead the development of a pleural disease service, including a medical thoracoscopy program.
Provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care (initially one day/week in the OR, with plans to
expand).
Collaborate with the Director of Interventional Pulmonology to establish a full-time program.
Support vacation coverage for the main interventional pulmonary team.
Participate in teaching, quality improvement, and clinical research initiatives.Qualifications:
MD or DO; board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology.
Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure.
Strong procedural and clinical skills, with excellent communication and teamwork.Preferred:
Experience building clinical programs.
