Under general direction, the Career Development Program Supervisor plans, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates participant-oriented career development services and activities at program sites; develops and maintains relationships with community organizations and representatives to promote and develop opportunities for the program and its participants.
The current vacancy oversees the Chatsworth and Santa Clarita offices.

The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following

Required Education and ExperienceEducation: A bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, psychology, sociology, political science, economics, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification, from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience: Three years of technical experience in human resources, placement employment, or career or job development, including two years of experience in leading or delivering professional training services.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver’s license and availability of private transportation or ability to provide transportation between job sites is required.
