MD&A's Houston Service Center is seeking an Inspector to perform essential tasks and processes ?associated with inspection, ensure conformance to specifications documents and report findings. dimensions from blueprints into standard formulas and solve for unknow quantities.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Reading blueprints & engineering specifications to obtain product information, such as specified material, surface finish, and dimensions.

Performing all inspection procedures necessary to assure the accuracy and quality of manufacturing for all products.

Calculate and measure dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of math and instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.

Maintain all records and reports

?Issue and fill out inspection reports

Issue and fill out NCR’s

Perform In process inspections

Perform Lay out inspections

?Perform Final inspections

Maintain a clean, safe, working environment.

Support other areas of the shop as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Use of fingers and hands to write; reach with hands and arms.

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

?Ability to lead, delegate, and organize work assignments to ensure efficient operations within the area.

Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to achieve intended objective.

Excellent organizational skills

Understanding and maintains lean and 6S safety in a manufacturing environment

Excellent computer skills

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
