Senior Frontend Developer

Minimum Years of Experience Required: 6+ Years

Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000

Authorization to Work: We require candidates to be a Permanent Resident or currently authorized to work in the United States when applying. We cannot provide visa sponsorship.

About the Role: We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our web applications, with opportunities to design and implement visualizations and interactions for AI-powered features. You will work closely with UX designers and backend engineers to translate designs and requirements into high-quality code. A passion for creating exceptional user experiences, expertise in modern frontend technologies, and an interest in presenting complex data or AI model outputs is key.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop new user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), ensuring responsiveness and performance.

Build reusable code and libraries for future use, including potentially components for visualizing AI-related data or model results.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences, integrating with backend APIs that may provide AI-generated content or data.

Implement data visualizations and interactive elements to effectively communicate insights or model outputs to users.

Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices.

Participate in code reviews and mentor junior frontend developers.

Advocate for best practices in frontend development and user experience.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 years of experience in frontend development.

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization.

Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and working with version control systems like Git.

Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js) is a plus.

Understanding of how to present and interact with data or results from AI models in a user-friendly interface is beneficial.
