Job Description

Facilities System Technician – Maintenance Pay and Hours:

• $22.65/hr

• Friday - Sunday 5:00 am to 6:30 pm

The System Technician performs general manufacturing production and non-production machine and equipment maintenance. Performs preventative maintenance to ensure maximum uptime. Works safely and follows all required PPE and Safe work rules.

• Receives and manages time-sensitive work order assignments.

• Reads hydraulic and pneumatic blueprints and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Troubleshoots and repairs production and non-production machines and equipment.

• Troubleshoots and repairs motor control and drive systems, heating and cooling equipment, industrial control systems, industrial doors, and lighting and electrical systems.

• Performs metal fabrication, welding, and heavy equipment repair.

• Must be willing to work any shift.

• All other duties as assigned.

Facilities System Technician – Maintenance Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Facilities System Technician – Maintenance Physical Requirements

• Moderate lifting and carrying 15-44 pounds.

• Use fingers, both hands, reaching and working above shoulders.

• Depth perception is required.

• Able to walk, stand, crawl, climb, kneel, and bend up to 10 hours per day.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to read and specify the needed parts for equipment or process failures.

Facilities System Technician – Maintenance Desired Skills

• Associate degree or Certificate in Industrial Maintenance

• Prefer three years of experience in troubleshooting, installing, and repairing PLCs, welding equipment, heavy equipment, HVAC equipment, and Rite Hite Industrial door systems

• Experience using Microsoft Office

• Possess a basic working knowledge and understanding of industrial electrical systems with the ability to use a Volt/Ohm Meter

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components

• Basic knowledge of industrial safety requirements related to hazardous, flammable, and explosive materials and environments

• Must have organization skills and effective communication skills with both technical and professional staff

• Knowledge of preventative maintenance
