Job Title: Sr. Mobile Engineer

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Rate: $67-$75 Per Hour W2

The estimate above represents the candidate's typical compensation range at the time of hire. Several factors may be utilized to determine your hourly rate including but not limited to years of experience and specific skillsets compared to employees in this role. Candidates typically start at the lower half of the estimated range.

This role is eligible to enroll in both Mondo's health insurance plan and retirement plan. Mondo defers to the applicable State or local law for paid sick leave eligibility. Our large retail client is looking for a Sr. Mobile Engineer to join their team! You will help design and develop omni-channel digital solutions to support customer-facing mobile applications. Help build a globally deployed digital platform for customers and store associates using some best-in-class, frameworks, platforms/technologies such as AWS,

Day to Day:

This person will participate in standard daily standup and app dev sessions.

15 days sprints

This role will entail a lot of backend work– linking API to DBs.

There will be some documentation and architectural diagrams.

Working with the front-end team on what they need from the back end.

80-90% heads down coding

This person should have a good understanding of front-end development.

Must Haves:

3-5 years of experience.

Tools: graphQL or Javascript, AWS Lambda, building restful APIs (60% of their work)

Strong back-end experience.

Strong mobile application experience.

Any shopping/retail/cart experience is nice to have.
