STNA: State Testing Nursing Assistant
Full Time and Part Time Day, Evening and Night Shifts
** Pay rate at $17.50/hour **

State Test Nurse Aides provides care for the residents. This care includes toileting, showers, feeding, putting to bed, get ups in the morning, lifts and transfers, and other primary care needs.
What will I do as a STNA: State Testing Nursing Assistant with Genacross?
Provide quality personal care to ensure that residents are comfortable and are provided with the highest quality of care. Adheres to all guidelines learned through the STNA training program and state guidelines as well as complies with the Home's policies and procedures.
Complete administrative requirements to ensure that proper documentation is maintained. Completes paperwork, medical forms, charting and all required documentation as a part of the resident care process and the transition of care process.
Assists the residents during the admissions, transfer and discharge process to provide ongoing quality care and assurance during transition periods.
Follow care plan functions to meet the specific needs of each resident. Focus on resident's individualized needs and encourage resident's ability to make personal choices.
Reports allegations of abuse/neglect and reports, as appropriate, to proper organization leadership.
Reports hazardous incidents, including but not limited to, injuries, equipment, etc. to the appropriate Manager/Supervisor.
Implements and follows disaster plans in the event of an emergency.
Accepts direction of charge nurse in relation to direct resident care.
STNA: State Testing Nursing Assistant Requirements:
Current State of Ohio STNA certification.
One to two years of experience in long-term care setting preferred.
Familiarity with basic computer skills. Ability to learn new software applications as required by the position.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior executives, managers, supervisors and direct care staff, as well as residents, families and physicians.
Understands directions; communicates and responds to inquiries promptly.
