Position: Middle School Science Teacher (1.0 FTE)
Rockford Area Schools is accepting applications for a full-time (1.0FTE) Middle School Science Teacher for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for teaching science to middle level learners and a strong interest in collaborating with other teachers around the theme of environmental studies while developing positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
Requirements:
Appropriate Minnesota Teaching License required. This position is for sixth grade and candidates will be considered with an appropriate license in Middle School Science as well as Elementary Education.

$45,093 - $92,423 dependent on qualifications

Bargaining Unit: Education Minnesota - Rockford, Master Agreement - Rockford

Single Coverage - District pays $805 toward premium
Family Coverage - District pays $1500 toward premium
District contributes $1,000 into HSA - if enrolled in high deductible plan
Dental: Single coverage - District pays sum that covers premium for employee only
Life Insurance: District provides $60,000 of life insurance at no cost, employee may purchase supplemental life insurance
Long Term Disability: District provided at no cost to the employee
Flexible Spending Acct: Employees may elect to contribute on a pre-tax basis to Health Flexible Spending Accounts and Dependent Care Accounts
Retirement:
The District contributes 9.50% of your total salary in the Teachers Retirement Association pension plan
Employees may also elect to participate in Deferred Compensation Plan once continuing rights granted
