Data Scientist with a specialization in Meteorology

In the Meteo team, you and your colleagues are responsible for everything related to weather data and numerical forecast models.

Armed with location data, digital elevation models, state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms, and a wealth of open weather data, your goal is to create the best possible hyperlocal weather forecast.

Your responsibilities range from backend training of your own ML models to the development of high-performance and resource-efficient post-processing algorithms directly on our users' devices.

This allows you to transfer the theoretical weather from the discrete model world directly to your location or planned hiking route.

In addition to the actual development, you will keep our data science team technically up to date and evaluate new methods in the areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, time series analysis, and weather modeling.

You ensure that our solution works reliably even during the next freak weather – whether it's a thunderstorm, a heat wave, or a sudden change in the weather in the mountains.
