A well-established company in the food industry, is seeking a Regional Sales Representative to join their team. This role is focused on developing and expanding retail and wholesale customer relationships throughout the SE Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and broader Mid-Atlantic region.
This is a strong opportunity for a sales professional with experience in perishable or center-of-plate food categories who enjoys hands-on relationship management and regional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular on-site visits
Identify and develop new retail and distributor accounts across the region
Stay informed on product offerings and customer needs to ensure exceptional service
Provide competitive insights and contribute to strategic sales planning
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational support and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally within the food or CPG industry
Experience working with retail or wholesale accounts
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated and capable of managing regional travel independently
Preferred Background:
Experience in perishable food sales, including meat or poultry
Familiarity with grocery or foodservice distribution channels
