DIRECT HIRE OPERATIONS MANAGER DATA CENTER CONSTRUCTION KANSAS CITY
A growing specialty contractor in Kansas City is looking for an Operations Manager to lead multiple Project Management Teams. This division will support their pipeline of Data Center and Advanced Manufacturing projects. Exciting opportunity to support (at a high level) some of the most complex/advanced construction projects being built by some of the largest US companies.
**Looking for experience with self-performing construction operations management**
$170K-$220K, dependent on level of experience

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of project managers, engineers, and associates in the Mission Critical electrical division, overseeing daily operations and growth.
Collaborate with estimating, marketing, and preconstruction teams to support project pursuits, pricing, and constructability.
Monitor design progress, project schedules, and profitability, resolving issues to ensure successful project delivery.
Develop win strategies, maintain client relationships, and engage with key decision-makers to secure projects.
Serve as a member of the Electrical Leadership Team, driving process improvements and profitability.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and federal contract regulations.
Conduct monthly project reviews to monitor progress, forecast profitability, and coach teams for success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or construction-related discipline preferred but not required.
15+ years of experience as an Electrical Construction Project Manager on large, non-residential projects, directly overseeing electrical work.
Experience in mission critical or advanced technologies (e.g., data centers)
10+ years of experience supervising multiple construction project management teams.
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and experience managing a profit and loss division.
Exceptional communication skills for client and team engagement.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle checks.
Local to the Kansas City metropolitan area preferred
