Job Title: Logistics Administrator
Reports To: Plant Manager/CFO
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Administrator to support the end-to-end logistics operations for our Summerdale facility. This role is vital in ensuring seamless material flow, efficient labor coordination, and on-time deliveries that support the projects. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, and Admin teams to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Freight & Transportation Coordination
Schedule and book freight based on customer requirements (delivery date, freight type, etc.).
Ensure accurate and timely shipping and delivery of materials to project sites.
Monitor shipment status and resolve any transit-related issues proactively.
Inventory & Material Handling
Support inventory accuracy by collaborating with Admin/Accounting for physical inventory tracking.
Ensure that shipments and returns are received and processed correctly (e.g., count quantities, handle damaged/repair items, document dbrs).
Update inventory changes promptly to maintain real-time accuracy during all project phases.
Project Lifecycle Support
Coordinate with sales reps (SR) to understand and plan for upcoming shipments and returns.
Manage logistics activities for re-rental materials including physical tracking and documentation.
Participate in project closeout by handling material return inspections and condition assessments.
Qualifications
5+ years of logistics, freight coordination, or warehouse management experience.
Experience managing labor teams and freight carriers.
Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems preferred.
