Position Summary:
The Manager, Distributor Engagement is a pivotal, high-visibility role responsible for expanding PECO’s distributor network, strengthening partnerships, driving operational excellence, and supporting strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and cross-functional project leadership.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in business relationship management, negotiation, data-driven strategy development, project execution, and influencing senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will combine field engagement with distributor partners and corporate strategic support, helping PECO achieve its network growth, compliance, and commercial objectives.
The position requires strong executive communication skills, an analytical mindset, project management discipline, and business acumen to effectively align initiatives across Operations, Sales, Finance, and Data teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Distributor Network Growth
Manage and execute strategic initiatives to expand and optimize PECO’s presence within controlled retail networks.
Identify and engage potential distributor partners, leading negotiations at both corporate and field levels.
Establish and manage distributor agreements to ensure asset handling compliance, operational excellence, and financial efficiency.
Business Intelligence & Analytics
Develop strategic frameworks and business models to assess distributor engagement opportunities.
Perform deep-dive analysis of distributor behavior, market trends, and operational gaps to drive strategy.
Project Management & Operational Leadership
Lead strategic, cross-functional projects from concept to implementation with clear objectives, governance models, and success measures.
Collaborate across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Data teams to execute programs that drive distributor performance improvement.
Anticipate risks and proactively solve issues to ensure project timelines and outcomes are achieved.
Distributor Relationship Management & Field Support
Build and maintain strong, multi-level partnerships with distributor organizations, from corporate executives to field managers.
Transitional Account Management of key corporate and location level partners.
Educate distributors on best practices in asset handling and operational compliance.
Support the onboarding of new distributor partners through the development of training materials and ongoing educational programs
Stakeholder Communication & Influence
Serve as a strategic advisor to internal leadership, delivering business cases, strategic recommendations, and performance insights.
Prepare and present high-impact, stakeholder presentations to drive internal alignment and decision-making.
Create visibility and manage accountability for key performance indicators that foster cross-functional collaboration and ownership.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent job experience.
Minimum 5 years Supply Chain experience.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong executive presence.
Agreement negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with autonomy and initiative.
Ability to develop and deliver training materials effectively.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Travel:
Up to 50%, with flexibility for additional travel during network expansion initiatives or onboarding phases.
