If so, we are currently seeking an Outside Sales Specialist – Custom Signs to join our team!
As an Outside Sales Specialist – Custom Signs, you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, showcase cutting-edge signage solutions, and help businesses stand out with high-quality branding. You'll have the opportunity to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team, all while making a real impact in the signage industry.
Here’s what you’ll do:
• Identify and prospect potential clients in a targeted market.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through networking, cold calling, outbound email campaigns, and other sales strategies.
• Conduct custom product presentations to showcase the range of signage options available.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients to understand their specific business needs.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal team to ensure smooth communication and deadlines are met.
• Prepare and quote accurate price quotes for signage.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Achieve set sales targets in line with company goals and objectives.
• Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for client and business growth.
• Stay informed on competitors and market trends.
• Prepare and maintain detailed sales reports, client records, and other documentation as needed.
• Seek feedback from clients to implement continuous improvement.
• Utilize CRM system provided to track and document all sales activities for both customers and prospects, including sales process (progress), pipelines, account information, client records, etc.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving issues or concerns promptly.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communication from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• Two to three years of professional sales experience in the sign, construction, or manufacturing-related industry required.

• Expertise in sales interactions with clients and customer service environments with excellent networking skills to recruit potential customers.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
• Excels in independent work.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with the ability to multitask.
• High attention to detail.
• Success in overcoming challenges, obstacles, and failures.
• Responsible for wearing multiple hats with a can-do attitude.
• Experience selling into upper management positions.
• Ability to present and negotiate contracts.
• Experience with high call volume both inbound and outbound.
• Ability to develop strong internal working relationships that foster collaboration and trust.
• Proficiency with a CRM, Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.
